Mortgage Inspection Plan
A Mortgage Inspection Plan (MIP), also referred to as a Plot Plan or Class D
Survey, is prepared for the use of the lender and its title insurer. Your lender
requires title insurance to cover certain boundary related problems. In order to
provide that insurance, a MIP is required. The MIP gives the relative location
of the structures and the boundary lines. It is not to be confused with a
boundary survey, which gives the exact location of structures and boundary to
solve land disputes.

parts of New Hampshire. Please refer to the Mortgage Inspection Plan Service
Area and Fee Schedule to determine if your land is within our services and the
expected cost. You may submit a Request for Mortgage Inspection Plot Plan Form
with the appropriate information via fax or post mail. Please, feel free to
