Company Overview
Northeast Civil Solutions, Inc. (NCS) was established in 1993 and has
steadily grown to become one of the preeminent survey and engineering firms in
northern New England. The firm offers a full range of survey capabilities
including traditional land based and global positioning system (GPS)
satellite-based surveying. NCS offers a wide range of civil engineering,
Geographic Information Services (GIS) consulting, and land planning services.
Based in Scarborough, Maine, NCS is professionally licensed in Maine and New
Hampshire. We complete projects for federal and state governments,
municipalities, and various industrial, commercial and private clients. Our
office is fully automated with state of the art hardware and software and all
workstations are networked to provide the most efficient working environment.
Data is provided to our clients in the latest technological formats available.
We use AutoCAD, GPSurvey, and Pfinder software to collect and process our
automated field data collections. Our engineering systems include use of
Softdesk LDD for roadway design, HydroCAD and StormCAD for stormwater modeling
and drainage design, Quick-2 programs for FEMA projects, and a host of other
software for technological proficiency.
Types of projects include commercial site plans; wetland delineation and
mitigation; industrial, commercial and residential subdivisions; utility
engineering; coastal and marine engineering, highway engineering; citywide
mapping; roadway and bridge layout; construction layout; topographic and
hydrographic surveying; stormwater management flood elevation surveying for FEMA
Elevation Certificates and boundary surveys. Our projects are completed by
experienced professional surveyors and engineers and is backed up by appropriate
insurance policies, including Professional and General Liability, Automotive
coverage, and Workers’ Compensation plans. Evidence of these insurances may be
supplied upon request.
With our numerous project experience, our professional, technical and support
personnel, and our state of the art equipment, Northeast Civil Solutions can
perform surveying, engineering, or mapping projects in the most detailed, timely
and cost efficient manner possible.

From the South – Take Exit 42 off from I-95, Straight through First intersection approximately 1 mile to US Route 1. Take left onto Route 1, at 7th traffic light (approximately 3 miles) take left into Scarborough Commons Parking Lot. NCS is on 2nd floor.
From the North – Take Exit 45 off from I-95, Straight through Toll Booth. Take Scarborough Old Orchard Exit (3rd on the right). Take a right at the 2nd light into Scarborough Commons Parking Lot. NCS is on the 2nd floor.
